Masala Milk Recipe


Ingredients:

4 glasses of milk

2 tbsp cashew nuts (kaju)

2 tbsp almonds (badam) 

2 tbsp pistachios

1/4 tsp cardamom (elaichi) powder

a pinch grated nutmeg (jaiphal) optional

 a pinch of saffron (kesar) strands

4 tbsp sugar


1. Grind together cashew nuts, almonds, Pistachios, cardamom, nutmeg, sugar and saffron.

2. Make a fine powder.

3. Add this mixture to milk.

4. Then add cream and churn once more.

 5. Chill this mixture for 3 hours.

Serve garnished with sliced dry fruits

Special effect: If you like to make it basundi  style, then take 6 glasses of milk and let it simmer on the medium heat [ keep stirring] to make it 4 cups.
